ABOUT.
The Community Church is a local non-denominational church in Lebanon, Ohio. We desire to feel the presence of The Lord in every single service, and for the ability to provide a place for The Holy Spirit to dwell. We desire the opportunity to meet, join, and serve together with all types of individuals, to spread the love of Jesus Christ. Ultimately, we desire JESUS CHRIST OVER EVERYTHING.
The Community Church was founded by Steve and Melissa Taylor, in 2008 - in the living room of their home, with only 6 people attending their first service. Today, The Community Church provides a home for hundreds of people each week through daily ministries and weekly services.
WHAT WE BELIEVE.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things; and we believe He exists in three Persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that sin separates us from God’s purpose for each of our lives, and ultimately leads us further from God and our relationship with Him.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only One who can save us and forgive us of our sins. He died on the cross, and rose from the grave to give us life.
To receive forgiveness and be given new life in Him, we believe that we must repent of our sins, confess and believe that He is our one God, and turn away from anything that will separate us from His will for our lives.
We believe in the public declaration of our choice to walk with God. We believe in being baptized in water and filled with the power of The Holy Spirit. We believe that The Holy Spirit gives us the ability to use spiritual gifts from God, including speaking in tongues.
We believe in the importance of the Church and our church family, and how it benefits each of us to regularly come together in times of fellowship, worship, and prayer.
We believe that God has called each of us to a greater purpose to further His Kingdom, and to spread the love of Christ in our community.
We believe that our eternity will be spent in Heaven or hell, determined by our response to God. We believe that God is coming back again, just as He has promised.
